Michelle Tam of Nom Nom Paleo fame, wrote two wonderful cookbooks which sparkle with her personality and are filled with family-pleasing paleo recipes: Nom Nom Paleo and Ready or Not. Some of these recipes also qualify as keto.

Six Seasons: A New Way with Vegetables has received more awards than any cookbook I remember! Joshua McFadden has combined his experience as a farm manager with his stellar reputation as a chef in producing unique and delightful recipes. Huge flavors with a modest amount of effort!

Ottolenghi Simple is the newest addition to the series of cookbooks by Yotam Ottolenghi. I’m embarrassed to admit how many of his books are on my shelf! His books do wonderous things with vegetables using a variety of exotic spices that enliven every vegetable they touch. I don’t know anyone that doesn’t love his books! My other two favorites are Plenty and Plenty More. These make wonderful gifts to fellow cooks as well.

If you are strong enough to hold Paleo Principles on your lap, you are in for a treat! Dr. Ballantyne is THE acknowledged expert on the paleo diet. She coined the word Nutrivore to describe the best possible way of evaluating the food in our diets. The beginning of the book is one of the most complete analyses of the elements in our diet that exists. The latter part of the book contains wonderful recipes. This is the Encyclopedia of Ancestral diets.
